The Challenge: An online form that converts over 50% of visitors
A London property developer has come to us with the challenge to increase the numbers of visitors filling out contact details on their online form. Indeed the whole purpose of their website is geared towards this one objective and it is their key measure of success.
After reviewing their site statistics for approximately 8 weeks it is fair to say that a fairly consistent 25% of all visitors to the registration page are submitting details. This is not a bad conversion rate but definitely leaves room for improvement.
Target 50% Conversion Rate
We have agreed to work towards and be measured against a target 50% rate for all visitors to the registration page. A very significant and stretching aim that will have a measurable bottom line impact on the business we are working with.
What we are doing
We've kicked this project off with the following actions:
- Trialling and reviewing different methods of communicating privacy information
- Shortening the information gathered to the bare minimum MUST HAVES
- Experimenting with colour
- Investigating propensity to complete the form in relation to arrival route
We will be reporting back on findings in October 07.
